BookPerth summers are hard on cabins. A good window tint cuts the heat coming through the glass, blocks UV so your seats and dash don’t fade, and takes the glare out of the afternoon drive home. We’re a SunTek certified installer, we fit film at the darkest shade WA law allows, and every piece is computer-cut to your exact windows before it goes near the car.
CXP ($560 to $750 full car). Carbon film. Solid heat and glare control, a deep neutral black that never turns purple. The value pick.
CIR ($650 to $860 full car). Ceramic film, and our most popular. Noticeably more heat rejection than CXP at the same shade, because the ceramic particles block infrared heat rather than just visible light.
Evolve ($850 to $1,060 full car). SunTek’s top nano-ceramic film. The highest heat rejection in the range, so you can run a lighter shade and still have a cooler cabin. The pick for EVs with big glass areas and for anyone who wants performance without a blacked-out look.
All three are metal-free, so phone, GPS, toll tags and keyless entry work as normal. Front two windows only from $240. Compare the three films in detail.
Front side windows must let through at least 35% of light. Windows behind the B-pillar (rear sides and rear window) can go to 20%. No film on the windscreen apart from a band across the top above the wipers. We fit to these limits on every car; we don’t fit illegal tint. Full guide to WA tint laws.
A full car takes about half a day. Most tint jobs are drop off in the morning, pick up in the afternoon.
SunTek films carry a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking and colour change, registered to you. Our fitting is guaranteed too.
Book tint with any ceramic coating package and the tint is 10% off, done in the same visit.
Usually, yes. Factory privacy glass is normally above the 20% limit, so film can be added behind the B-pillar. We measure every window before we fit.
No. Our films are metal-free and we never cover a camera or sensor. On EVs we also use the car’s wash mode so nothing triggers mid-job.
Windscreens can only have a band across the top, above the wipers. Glass roofs we leave untinted, as most car makers advise.
